Regulators can now measure how long every application, license, and complaint takes — on live
data, every day, without a data request.
TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA, September 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — GovCore today released a new reporting function and activity tracking for its regulatory operations platform. The release adds analytics reports, drag-and-drop dashboards, activity calendaring with reminders and alerts on records, and activity categories for notes, letters, emails, and tasks.
Regulators work to deadlines the statute sets. An application must be decided. A complaint must be closed. A license must be renewed. Until now, measuring how long that work takes has meant a data request to a technical team, a spreadsheet, and a wait.
Analytics reports change that. Staff build them by drag and drop, with no SQL. A report can count, sum, and average any field, calculate the standard deviation, and measure the days between dates — received to decided, filed to closed. Filtering and sorting run at speed on live data. The new report type sits beside GovCore’s transactional reports, which remain as they were.
Dashboards bring the two together. Analytics charts and transactional reports combine on one page — an Executive Summary, a Licensing Dashboard, or any layout a regulator wants. Staff arrange them by drag and drop. Leadership sees the team’s performance and the agency’s performance daily, on live data. The governor’s annual report and the board package draw from the same page. The gathering goes away.
Activity tracking adds calendaring, reminders, and specialized alerts on records. Notes, letters, emails, and tasks sit on a calendar. Alerts fire on the files a regulator manages or monitors, so the whole operation knows, not one desk. Activity categories classify each note, letter, email, and task for audit reporting and retention.
“A regulator should know, every morning, how long its work is taking and where a file has stalled,” said Julian Cardarelli, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of GovCore. “It should not need a data request to find out. With this release the answer is on screen, and the governor’s report and the board package come from the same live page. GovCore is by far the most complete, most comprehensive regulatory platform in the industry.”
