New apps for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro let auditors manage AI agents, review work, and keep engagements moving from anywhere
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, UNITED STATES, August 27, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — AuditFile, Inc. announced the launch of native apps for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro, giving auditors new ways to manage AI agents and perform engagement work from anywhere.
The release comes as accounting firms shift routine engagement work to AI. That shift creates a new management challenge: agents can continue drafting, analyzing, and following up at any hour, but their work still requires questions to be answered, exceptions to be resolved, and conclusions to be approved by a professional. AuditFile’s new apps are designed to put those decisions on the devices auditors already carry.
From an iPhone or iPad, auditors can manage AI agents, follow their progress, respond when an agent needs more information, and review the resulting work. Push notifications alert the auditor when an agent has paused with a question or completed work that is ready for review. The auditor can approve, return, or escalate the output without waiting to get back to a laptop.
“The important change is not that auditors can use AI on a phone. It is that they can manage a team of AI agents from one,” said Steven Bong, CEO of AuditFile. “The agents can keep the engagement moving, but the auditor still sets the direction, answers the hard questions, reviews the work, and makes the final call.”
AuditFile’s agentic suite includes agents that work through disclosure checklists, abstract lease contracts, draft and review procedures, categorize trial balances, prepare client request lists, and gather context from across an engagement. The technology builds on U.S. Patent No. 10,891,294, awarded to AuditFile for the application of artificial intelligence to financial statement audits.
The apps also bring AuditFile’s day-to-day engagement features into the field. Auditors can browse clients, engagements, audit areas, and procedures; prepare, review, or mark procedures not applicable; read and resolve review comments; capture evidence; view and annotate workpapers; and record time. Offline access supports fieldwork in warehouses, basements, airplanes, and other places where an internet connection may be unreliable.
Apple Watch provides alerts when a colleague or AI agent needs attention and lets users triage a request before continuing on iPhone. On Apple Vision Pro, auditors can place agent activity alongside the trial balance, workpapers, and supporting documents in a spatial workspace.
AuditFile also launched an app for Apple TV, turning the television into a status dashboard. Teams have a bird’s-eye view of open engagements, team presence, firm activity, and active agent runs.
AuditFile’s apps for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro are now available on the App Store and are included with an AuditFile subscription.
