TigerConnect, the AI-powered care team orchestration platform used by more than one million care team members, today announced its Fall 2026 product release, introducing 27 platform enhancements designed to reduce manual coordination, accelerate clinical response, improve patient throughput, and simplify healthcare operations.
Across a health system, care can be delayed while teams wait for a schedule to be updated, an alert to be acknowledged, or a transfer or patient request to move forward. Despite significant investment in EHRs and digital infrastructure, coordination between systems and teams often still depends on manual steps: finding the right person or information, routing information and following up to ensure work is completed.
TigerConnect connects people, systems and workflows across the health system, helping care teams coordinate that work from pre-hospital care through discharge. The Fall release extends this approach with capabilities for managing schedules and operator workflows, configuring and evaluating workflows, and maintaining communication during network disruptions.
“Healthcare doesn’t need more disconnected technology. It needs less waiting,” said Saurin Shah, Chief Product Officer at TigerConnect. “We’re building AI and automation directly into the tools care teams already use, so they spend less time chasing information and more time with patients. That means faster response, and care that keeps moving.”
Expanding AI and Automation Across Healthcare Workflows
The Fall 2026 release introduces new capabilities across the TigerConnect platform.
Return Time to Care Teams with AI Scheduling Engine and AI Scheduling Agent
Now generally available, TigerConnect’s AI Scheduling Engine uses configurable rules, provider preferences, and assignment logic to build schedules and identify potential coverage gaps. The AI Scheduling Agent enables care teams to use natural language to find on-call coverage, access contacts, and coordinate shift swaps within existing workflows.
“Having the right coverage in place is essential to support our caregivers and ensure patients across Southeast Alaska receive the care they need,” said Dr. R. Orie Browne, MD, PhD, Medical Director, SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC). “Our team previously built schedules manually, and it’s encouraging to see TigerConnect introduce AI capabilities that help keep service blocks together and avoid back-to-back night shifts. These improvements help simplify scheduling, reduce administrative work and give us more time to focus on our patients.”
Together, these capabilities help reduce administrative scheduling work, improve coverage visibility, and connect care teams with the right resources faster.
“TigerConnect Scheduling has become an essential part of planning for our teams, making it easier to create schedules for multiple teams. We’ve had TigerConnect Messaging for two years, and it has enhanced communication among staff in departments like the Laboratory, Family Services, Organ Recovery and others,” said Heath Hamilton, Manager of Laboratory Services, Midwest Transplant Network. “We anticipate that the AI Scheduling Engine will help us save more time as we focus on the lifesaving gifts of organ, eye and tissue donation.”
Accelerate Clinical Response with Operator Console and AI Operator Assist
TigerConnect’s cloud-native Operator Console, now generally available with AI Operator Assist, helps hospital operators identify patients, providers, and on-call teams, determine routing paths, and respond to incoming requests more efficiently.
New early-release capabilities include Virtual Operator, which automates routine call handling and routing, and a Code Event Dashboard that provides centralized visibility into emergency response activity.
These innovations are designed to reduce operator workload, improve responsiveness, and allow operators to focus on complex and time-sensitive situations. Among the latest innovations are the general availability of AI-powered scheduling and operator assistance, with estimated results up to a 25% reduction in scheduling burden and a 40% reduction in operator workload.
Bring Workflow Automation and Performance Insights Closer to Care with Alarm and Alert Management
TigerConnect is expanding CareConduit™, its alarm and alert management workflow automation foundation, with an early-release visual Workflow Builder and Analytics Dashboard.
Workflow Builder enables authorized teams to design, test, and deploy alert-routing workflows using visual configuration tools, reducing dependence on custom development. The Analytics Dashboard provides visibility into workflow activity and performance, helping organizations identify bottlenecks, evaluate effectiveness, and make more informed operational decisions. Both solutions have AI-embedded functionality to support creating new workflows or querying data.
“Hospitals should be able to see how their workflows are performing and improve them without waiting on IT,” said Dr. Peter Stetson, Chief Medical Informatics Officer at TigerConnect. “We’re putting workflow automation and performance insights closer to the people delivering care, so they can identify delays, make changes, and keep care moving.”
Maintain Critical Communication During Network Disruptions with Offline Mode
Offline Mode, available through TigerConnect’s early-release program, is designed to support essential secure messaging and alert-routing workflows during network interruptions or planned downtime. It enables local communication continuity and synchronizes information when connectivity returns, helping care teams stay coordinated during disruptions.
Bring Intelligence into Everyday Workflows with Tiger AI and Ask Tiger
The release also previews Tiger AI, powering workflows across the TigerConnect platform, and Ask Tiger, the singular AI assistant experience embedded within TigerConnect interfaces.
Ask Tiger is designed to help users interact with information, workflows, and systems through natural language. As the capabilities evolve, TigerConnect plans to expand from finding answers to coordinating resources, automating routine work, and enabling authorized next actions across the platform.
Additional enhancements across Clinical Communication, Smart Room, Nurse Call, and transfer workflows further connect care teams, patient information, and operational processes.
Availability
The AI Scheduling Engine, AI Scheduling Agent, Operator Console, and AI Operator Assist are generally available.
Workflow Builder, Analytics Dashboard, Offline Mode, Virtual Operator, and Code Event Dashboard are being introduced through TigerConnect’s early-release program. Tiger AI and Ask Tiger are being previewed.
