Pittsburgh, PA, July 23, 2026 —

Lego has announced the upcoming release of a new building set inspired by the iconic 1990s science fiction television series, The X-Files. The 1,478-piece set features detailed recreations of key elements from the show, including mini-figures of central characters Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.

In addition to the main protagonists, the set also includes other series regulars and alien figures. The design incorporates a replica of Mulder’s meticulously detailed office, a forest clearing scene, and a UFO, offering fans a tangible connection to the show’s mysteries.

This new set is part of Lego’s Ideas line, a program that allows fans to submit their own designs, which are then considered for production. The X-Files set was designed by Australian artist Brent Waller, a testament to the fan-driven nature of the Lego Ideas platform.

Consumers will be able to purchase the X-Files Lego set starting August 4th. To accompany the launch, a promotional video has been released, featuring actress Gillian Anderson, who portrayed Dana Scully in the television series.
